A Resident of Garfield, New Jersey. Len spent his career as a technical artist Illustrator Designing and Advertising for Curtiss Wright Corp. ITT and Federal Electric Inc. Hycon Manufacturers Calf. Oxbery Inc. and Advanced Technology Inc.. Vice President and Founder of Shiloh Rifle Manufacturing Co. Specializing in perspective and isometric drawings in exploded views.
Len believes he has ben blessed with a God given talent from an early age. His dedication and discipline in technical illustrating has helped him realize that detail is everything. He uses this approach with the oil paints, which hve become his main focus. Appreciating detail seen in fine art by great artist make him strive to have the same affect on others.
Retired after 50 years of Technical Illustrating, Len is fulfilling a lifetime ambition on oil painting. He is a Graduate of the Drafting Institute of Newark, the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts (1960), attended the Milton Patterson Art Studio, Hawthorn, NJ (1964), and attended Pencilworks in Little Falls NJ, where he studied with Jerry Winick.
Len is a member of: Ridgewood Art Institute, Ridgewood NJ CAA (Community Art Association) Allendale, NJ RMAA (Ringwood Manor Art Association) Ringwood, NJ, and the New Jersey Society of En Plein Air Painters.
He has recently received Second Place for his painting “Girl with Pearl Earring” at the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts Membership Exhibit. Second Place in Wycoff for Painting “Reflections in Venice” and has received an Honorable Mention at both RMAA and CAA for his Paintings “African Woman”.
His Work is currently being displayed at Design Domaine Gallery in Bernardsville, as well as locally throughout New Jersey.
