CAA meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month from September to May, 7:30pm, at the Trinity Church, 55 George St, Allendale NJ. Each meeting begins with refreshments and a painting contest, with work judged by fellow artists and a prize awarded. After a short business meeting, a visiting professional artist gives a demonstration of his or her painting technique, followed by a question and answer period. In addition to meeting demos, workshops are offered throughout the season offering opportunities to paint and learn with well-known artists. In April, CAA sponsors a bus trip to the prestigious American Watercolor Society Show in New York City. The highlight of the season is our Non-juried Member's Show, held each year in May, with generous cash prizes for the winners.
CAA membership dues are $35 for all individuals and are payable by June 1, when our fiscal year begins. Please mail your check payable to CAA to: Joyce Kanyuk, 29 John St., New City, NY 10958. Dues must be fully paid in order to be eligible to participate in member art shows and to receive member rates for CAA workshops and Bus Trip.
