Sylvie Covey’s online portfolio www.sylviecovey.com is fascinating in its diversity and impressive in its sheer size. To state that she is a printmaker, photographer and painter is too basic, because her artwork in each of those areas can be further divided into numerous media and style categories. She is currently focusing on digital photography, which she alters in many ways. The dramatic example here features true and imagined layered colors. She teaches at The Art Students League, FIT, and the Art Center of Northern New Jersey.
